| Comments: I would like to comment on the excellent service that I have received from Syd Beaumont and his shop over the past couple of years. They have repaired and restored several vintage amps and a preamp for me, most recently a pair of 1958 H.H.Scott model 250 monoblock amps. These started out as very questionable dusty relics from an attic, and now they are beautiful display pieces with astounding sound quality. Syd even rewrote the original manual to incorporate the changes that he made! Their work is top notch, and communication was excellent,a real pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I wouldn't hesitate to send them more vintage projects in the future! |

Comments: I acquired the Elite 80 for a month now and would like to share my experience.
Syd Beaumont: A friendly approachable CEO who answered my inquiries before and after the purchase. He made me feel shopping from a stranger very comfortable.
Price: Yes, it is affordable. The amplifier is well worth the money.
Shipping: Very fast, faster than I expected.
Packaging: Nicely wrapped with bubbled sheet inside a heavy duty cartoon box. Each tube was individually wrapped and clearly marked. Not a single scratch found.
The Elite 80: The appearance is impressive, construction is solid, sound is smooth and dynamic, no hiss and hum at silent. It produces very good sound with my La Scala as well as on my KEF speakers.
I am very happy with the price, quality and customer care for the Elite 80. Thanks Syd.

| Comments: Hi! I just hooked up my new, new, new Elite 80 stereo power amp. This is powering a pair of Monitor Audio GOLD speakers from 1994. Wow, a very sonic experience. Source material comes from a Denon DCD-1015 CD player into an Audio Alchemy DAC. Everything gets its juice from a PS Audio Quintet power conditioner. I love the flawless power your unit provides. After all these decades, there is certainly something to be said for tubes makin' music. Nice job! |
